Tommy-adopted!

Tommy is a young yellow lab. He has a very beautiful extra soft coat that is almost golden in color.  Tommy is a large, tall, and consequently strong Field Bred Lab who is an active young lab who will need plenty of exercise and a family committed to training him so that he can be the best dog he can be.  He does know how to calm down when the time is right, and is a very sweet and loving boy.  He already knows sit and down and appears to be a quick learner.   In fact, Tommy can walk on the Gentle Leader.  He is crate trained, although he would love to cuddle up with you in bed.  Tommy loves the beach and needs some familiarity with the pool (if you have one).  Tommy is dog friendly and submissive to more dominant dogs, we are unsure of how he is with cats. He absolutely loves stuffed toys, but will go through them very quickly, so he needs the durable ones. He loves to be scratched and will do anything for a cookie!

Adopted, October 2003.
