Sailor-adopted!

Climb aboard and meet our new Flat Coat Retriever, Sailor! This handsome guy is a young adult and has all the characteristics of the more common Golden Retriever breed except he's black. He has a non-stop smile on his face, soft kind eyes, and he appears to be a socially adept fellow for any person and/or dog that he comes in contact with.

Sailor is a large in size but not overweight. He's probably in the 70-75 lb range (knock off a few lbs for his long feathery coat!) and although Sailor is sweet and gentle, he's got power. Keep this in mind with younger kids -- 10 years of age and over would be ideal for him.

Sailor also appears to be multi-faceted. A typical day for him would be get pets, run, play, rest, get pets, run, play, rest (repeat several times) Basically you name it, he likes it! He likes to run, he likes to chase tennis balls, he likes to chill out in the shade, he likes people, he likes other dogs, and so on...

Sailor really does deserve a chance to be a part of a family. He's an awfully nice boy with much to offer in the way of companionship, love, and just having some good old fashioned fun together.

Adopted, July 2004.
