Ryder-adopted!

Here is cute little Ryder, a petite male, Labrador Retriever -- also young. He is on the smaller/leaner side which we know can be a plus for some families that like the Lab temperament and looks, but prefer a medium + sized dog. Ryder is nearly full grown but needs to pack on a few pounds as it appears he was a bit undernourished in his past life. Around 5 lbs might do just the trick along with the growing that he may still be doing.

What we have noticed and enjoy about Ryder thus far is he seems pretty mellow! Now, he is still pretty new to ARF and could be getting acclimated but he isn't as feisty as some young Labs we have seen. Go Ryder! But for his benefit and yours, we will still want to see him go through training so he can be the best dog he can be.

Ryder is a great guy! Loaded with potential for a family that has kids at least 6 years and up looking for a fun dog. He'd make a super companion if you already have a dog, but seeking another pal. If you are interested in Ryder as a single dog it would be great if there was a person home a bit during the day. It would be a nice bonus for this deserving guy -- so he can thrive and become a confident and loved member of the family.
