Pepper-adopted!

This is Pepper.  He is a Flat-Coated Retriever mix. This boy has the blackest coat  you are likely to find and he finds himself in need of a forever family after being abandoned at the front porch of someone's house.

The note that was left with him says very little about him.  He has been trained with basic obedience and can even shake hands.

He is  housebroken . He has ridden very nicely in the  car and has even been in a crate but that is new to him.  He takes treats so gently from your hands and loves to just be in the same room as you are.

When he feels it is time to scratch his head he will slide it right under your hand.

A boy of this maturity enjoys several naps throughout the day but still has the energy for a nice walk with you.  He is past all the years of romping endlessly and is just a mellow companion of the truest sort.
