This is really hard on my humans, but I am grateful they are using a rescue to find me a new home. I am a really nice size dog of about 50 lbs give or take. I am very mature too and so well socialized around people and canines. I have grown up with kids ages 6 and up. I do really well at the doggie park running around with other dogs, chasing tennis balls and going up to all the people I see there. My current human has had many dogs in his lifetime and he says my temperament and personality are his very favorite of all of them. 

I am an adult dog (of about 6 yo) but I am still very playful. I love to run and feel the wind on my feathery coat. But because I have come into my own (yeh, I'll boast a little) I settle down well at home too. I'm the kind of boy that plays when called upon and puts 110% into playtime. But if I know you need to get some work done, or if you just want to hang out with me during TV or computer time, then I can do that too. My manners are also top notch. I don't jump on people (even kids) and I am not destructive. I'm just a great dog, a great friend, and a great find for a novice family or someone that wants a "pal." If you have kids then you could also consider me. I grew up with them. My Dad taught me well and it shows!
