Minnie-adopted!

Hi, my name is Minnie and I am an adult, female, black Labrador Retriever.  Boy oh boy what a difference a few weeks make!  If any of you read about me before today you would have seen a girl that was underweight with a sad face.  Well, I'm still trying to gain a few more lbs, but I have really started to blossom.

I'll always be on the small side because I'm just a smaller lab.  Now I'm closer to 45 lbs and would make a great pet for someone that lives in an apartment or condo.  So far I still think I'd do best as an only dog because I really do prefer the company of humans.  I get along with other dogs but probably not with the expectation that I will be their playmate.  I could thrive the most by just being part of a family.

I'm a quiet girl (my bark sounds more like a "squeak") and so far I don't seem to mind cats.  I am super around small children as I'm not mouthy at all.

I do hope you consider meeting me.  I am a really sweet girl with so much love to give.  My manners do need some fine tuning as I want to jump on laps, and at times the furniture, but I just need a gentle leader in the house.  I would love to have the chance to be your special little girl.

Adopted April 2004.
