Major-adopted!

Major is an adult Black male Labrador, with a smiling face to match his loving disposition.  He is handsome, too, with shiny black hair and bright eyes.  Major has earned his name by being a major love bug - he loves to be petted and will snuggle with you on the couch (or the bed!) if you let him. He is not shy about nuzzling his foster mom for a pet, a kiss, or a kind word and is always happy to see nice people.

He is well behaved both indoors and outdoors, but prefers to sleep inside at night, on a soft surface like a dog bed.  He is attentive to commands and can probably be trained easily.  He is completely housebroken, too.  He shares nicely  - toys, food, attention - with other dogs and plays very well with them too.  He ignores cats and is very gentle and patient.  He weighs about 60 lbs (but could use a few more pounds) and has the typical Lab spirit and temperament.  He enjoys toys (of course), and would love to be in a home than can enjoy his playfulness and give him the love you cannot help but want to give him.

Major will be a wonderful addition to any family who has love and affection to give this sweet loving boy!

Adopted, October 2003.
