Jenna-adopted!

Hi -- I am Jenna but perhaps my name should be "Speedy" because I'm fast, I like to run, and I LOVE to chase tennis balls.  I'm a young female black Lab mix (complete with a racing stripe down my chest) of about 60 lbs.  I am a tall, athletic girl suitable for an active family with children at least 10 or 12 years of age and above.

I have a bit of obedience training too.  I will sit for you and lay down.  All I need is some fine tuning -- just wave a tennis ball in front of me and I will do just about anything you ask!

I also get along well with other dogs.  In fact my buddy Rex is also on this site.  He and I shared a kennel in our past lives and we live together right now.  The only time I may not get along really well with another dog is if they want to take my tennis ball.  I prefer not to share, and get possessive if a dog tries to take it away.

Because my past is unknown I don't know how I'd respond to a cat.  If you are coming to meet me please bring your feline friend along.  All in all I am quite a nice girl -- I really like to play, I enjoy the company of humans, I ride well in the car and I do well on a leash.

Adopted, July 2004.
