Jax-adopted!

If temperament, youth and having an all around CUTE dog with potential up the wazoo is what you are looking for, then stop right now and read about Jax!  This boy came to us from a local LA shelter because he has just about the best disposition anyone could hope for.  He is a mixed breed, but who cares when you can have a dog like Jax!

Jax is a young boy, out of the puppy stage and ready to embark on a long, fun filled life.  He may have some Rhodesian Ridgeback in him, and some Labrador.  Whatever the combination -- its working!  He's a great size too.  Probably full grown and weighing about 60 lbs or so.

We don't a whole lot about Jax and his past, but here's what we have seen so far.  A dog that is really well behaved and quiet for his still tender years.  A dog that will sit or lay down with his paws crossed and look at you attentively.  A dog that appears to have well developed social skills around humans and other dogs.  And lastly a dog that would make so many people happy to have as their forever "buddy."

This is the dog you adopt if you want a companion -- breed not important.  Being young though he has shown 1-2 "teenager" tendencies (like the need for leash training, and dragging his bedding out of his kennel!) but these are manageable and will go away with time and training.

Adopted May 2005.
