Goose-adopted!

Goose is a male chocolate Lab -- a puppy, still under one year. Currently he's around 55-60 lbs and about 75% full grown. Goose is a tiny bit crate trained, loves to fetch and is learning how to be a good boy on leash.

Goose is a very sweet boy, that loves people. He will need training as all young Labs do but he has already shown us that he knows a thing or two! He gets along with other dogs and is really playful, immediately getting into the play bow position. And although still in his chewing phase, Goose has a pretty soft mouth. Still, he does jump a bit and really has no idea how fast and strong he is so for these reasons we feel in everyone's best interest Goose should be placed with a family that has kids around 10 y/o and up.

What would be the very best for Goose would be to find a home with a family that has been through the teenage years of a Lab. And because he is such a lover, it would be nice if there was a person home quite a bit during the day. Not only for the added supervision that he will need, but just to be there for each other.

Goose is a terrific boy. Ready to take on life with a committed family so he can run and play, or cuddle and nap -- either way he's ready to be a loved family member for years to come.

Adopted May 2006.
