FIo-adopted!

My name is Flo, and boy am I glad to be here with the nice people at ARF.  See, in my past life, my humans just dropped my off at a shelter and I have no idea why!  I was there for a while too -- perhaps because I am an adult dog.  Truth of the matter is, I have so much life and spunk in me. Plus as an added bonus I can also be very sweet and mellow.  I walk well on a leash and I get along with other dogs too.  See how much I have going for me?

I am a bigger black Lab weighing in at maybe 75 lbs.  When I see a toy I get excited and begin to play all by myself -- I toss the toy around and gallop to catch it!  I can do this over and over again.  When I see a nice human close by I'll come over for a little one on one time.

The one thing I can't say for sure is how I'd respond to cats.  I think with time, I could get along fine with them because I'm a really nice girl.

So if you are looking for a sweet girl, that is out of the puppy stage, as well as a friend that can be at home when the family is at work, then consider me.  I can assure you that I'll bring you many happy years.  When you come home at the end of the day you will be greeted with a smile and kisses -- and if you want to play -- just name the time and I'll bring the ball!

(Flo's tail has been docked but she is a Lab)
