Derby-adopted

Derby, a 7 month old boy, is all the Labrador pup in behavior. He has a high spirit level as he runs around looking for things to carry in his mouth. Derby loves his toys and more so the Rag Rope, that he can toss in the air ! He is truly eager to learn and is very attentive to "clicker" training He learned sit is just a few minutes, and was ready for another training trick to learn. Nylabones or Kong toy products would be best and safest for Derby to play with.

Derby is a very light (white) yellow Labrador, that currently weighs about 50 lbs. He will probably weigh 65 lbs when full grown. Derby is rambunctious (as a pup) and is just wanting to have a good time with other dogs or a human friend. He should be either with a young dog (desirably, close to his age to play with) or a family that can devote much time to him for training through his early development years.

He is learning crate training and no doubt will be successful ...probably about the time he is adopted. Derby is very nice boy for an active family that will commit to training and developing him to have him blossom into a wonderful adult dog.

Adopted February 2006
