Cassidy-adopted!

This is little Cassidy, a young female yellow Labrador Retriever.  She is as pretty as can be.  Cassidy is very petite and currently weighs about 45 lbs, but she needs to gain about 5 lbs or so.

Cassidy had the misfortune of having the tip of one ear chewed off by another dog. However, this does not impair her hearing or beauty in any way and is healing quite nicely.  She is a sweet, mellow girl who just loves to lie around and receive pets.  She does love activity, especially running around outside.

Cassidy is still recovering from her past life, and so will need time to blossom into the wonderful dog we know she will become.  While she is friendly with other dogs, she would prefer not to live with them and would instead like to have visits and playdates.  Cassidy is fine with cats...she's curious and will sniff at them, but does not act aggressive, even when swatted. Cassidy would be best in a home without young children, as she's still coming out of her shell and needs a quiet, gentle family to help her blossom.

Her temperament and behavior are so docile, that you can't help but want to cradle and stroke her and be her best friend to love.  And that's what Cassidy needs now more than anything, lots and lots of love.

Adopted, March 2003.

Here's Cassidy with her new family.
