Canyon-adopted!

Here's Canyon, our new adult male Golden Retriever. Canyon's has a beautiful copper colored feathery coat and an easy going temperament. Canyon is a nice size too if you like big dogs. He isn't as big as some Goldens can get, but we guess he's 65-70 lbs or so. He is new to us so we don't know how he'd feel about cats and its too soon to tell what he would think of young kids.

What we have observed so far is how quiet and easy going he is. Canyon was saved from a shelter and again, quietly shared a kennel run with 2 other dogs.

We have had him on leash briefly and he did great. He heeled up really well and had a moderate gait when walking.

So if adopting a sweet, soulful, adult dog is in your future consider
Canyon. We see him transitioning nicely into a home where he has a comfortable inside bed, neighborhood walks, moderate play and to be there to whisper sweet nothings to. And with Canyon being as quiet as he is...well, he'll probably whisper right back.
